Camp Y-Koda Outdoor Skills and Education Camp

&

Crystal Blue Springs

Individual Activities or as a Group:

 These activities can be done individually as 2 hour programs

 
  • Archery – This is a great activity for first time archers or kids needing more practice.  Participants will learn proper safety, basic shooting fundamentals, and parts of the bow and arrow.  Most of the time will be spent doing actual target practice. ($35/Person)

  

  • BB Gun – Learn how to handle a BB-Gun and the fundamentals of marksmanship at our BB-Gun range.  Basic gun safety will be emphasized as well as proper stance and sighting.  Majority of the time will be spent doing actual target practice.  (35/Person)
  • Kayaking – Learn basic safety, paddling techniques, while paddling Camp Pond looking for turtles. ($35/Person)

 

 

  •  Canoeing – Learn basic safety, steering, proper stokes, explore the pond for turtles & other creatures. ($35/Person)

 

 

  • Climbing Wall – – Learn good climbing technique and test yourself on different rock routes on our 40 foot climbing wall.  Participants will learn proper safety, how to put on a harness, and how to properly belay climbers.  Of course most of the time will be spent climbing. ($30/Person)  Open year-round.

 

 

  • High Ropes Course – Challenge yourself on our high ropes course by trying to conquer obstacles while suspended 40 feet above the ground.  Walk across a log, zip down our zip line, climb a 30 foot pole and jump off.  You have to see this to fully appreciate it. ($55/Person) Open year-round.

 

  • Snowshoeing – Learn the history of snowshoes and explore our 80 acres of Camp trails along the river, through the forest, and around the meadows. ($20/Person)

 

 

  • Winter Birding Snowshoe Hike – Take a guided snowshoe hike searching, listening, and identifying, some of our local wintering birds.  Location will be decided upon at the time of booking based on bird activity.  ($25/Person)

 

 

  • Outdoor Survival – Be prepared for a survival situations…..how to gather food, build a shelter & start a fire with out matches.  ($18/Person)

 

 

  • Fishing – Basic instruction on proper casting, baiting, and removing baits & hooks from caught fish.  Actual fishing will be divided between the Camp Pond and the Sheboygan River. ($35/Person)

 

Combo Adventure Packages

 
  • Adventure Package --A four hour program consisting of Kayaking, Climbing the Camp’s Wall, and the Zip-Line at the High Ropes Course.  This package is for the true adventurer in all of us.  It’s non-stop action. ($125/Person )

 

 

  • Skills Package – – A four hour program consisting of Archery, BB Gun, and Fishing or Canoeing.  This is a great way to learn a variety of outdoor skills in a short amount of time. ($85/Person)

 

 

  • High Ropes Challenge Package –– A four hour program consisting of Team Building, Climbing the Camp’s Wall, and High Ropes Course.  This is a great activity for families, teams, or business groups. ($110/Person)

 

  • Team Building – See how well your group can work together trying to solve different problems presented to them at our Low Ropes Course.  This is an excellent activity for corporate or volunteer groups to discover about how they work together in a non-typical work environment.   ($45/Person)

Trips

  • Kayaking the Sheboygan River – – A two hour trip down the Sheboygan River beginning at Camp Y-Koda and ending at River Park in Sheboygan Falls.  A great trip with minimal rapids and lots of wildlife.   ($55/Person)

 

  • Canoeing the Sheboygan River – A two hour trip down the Sheboygan River beginning at Camp Y-Koda and ending at River Park in Sheboygan Falls.  A great trip with minimal rapids and lots of wildlife. ($45Person)

  • Kayaking at the Sheboygan County Marsh – A three hour interpretive tour of the Sheboygan County Marsh.  Learn about the marsh’s history, management practices, and see plenty of wetland birds and other wildlife. ($60/Person)

  • Canoeing at the Sheboygan County Marsh – A three hour interpretive tour of the Sheboygan County Marsh.  Learn about the marsh’s history, management practices, and see plenty of wetland birds and other wildlife. ($45/Person)

 

  • Fish our Private Lake groups of four (4) or more required – A three hour guided fishing adventure at the 4.5 acre lake on the Crystal Blue Springs property located at the foothills of the N. Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. All equipment (fly/spinning rods) & bait will be provided instructions are available when requested at no additional charge. This is a catch & release fishing adventure from shore for blue gills, crappies, perch, bass and rainbow trout. ($60/person).
  • Fish can be kept at the rate of $3.50 p/lb if desired. Fish will be cleaned and packaged in plastic bags, bring your own cooler & ice to take home your rewards of the adventure. If desired a shore lunch of your catch can be provide at an additional cost if scheduled ahead, call Wolf Pack for details. A hatchery tour and fish farm feeding experience also available upon request to round off your adventure. ($2/person)

 

 

  • Hike the Sheboygan River during the Spring & Fall “Fish Run” Groups are limited to 6 individuals on this interpretive adventure witnessing the age-long spawning ritual of these river run Trout & Salmon. Watch while anglers try their best techniques to hook into a wall hanging trophy. ($30 /person)

           

 

Transportation

Round Trip is only $10 per person from your lodging to your adventure, and back to your lodging!

     Transportation Shuttles will be provided upon request by Heidenreiter Bus Service for all Wolf Pack Outdoor Adventures.  One day notice is required for scheduling.  Shuttles are handicap accessible with wheelchair lifts.
