Hunting
Adventures
Turkey
Wolf Pack’s spring hunts begin in mid April
and runs through mid May but you’re required to apply for
a WI DNR permit by the first part of December. All of our hunts
are held on private property in Sheboygan & Manitowoc counties
or Zone 2. Our prehunt scoutings have the birds pinpointed for your
hunt. Blinds and decoys are provided or you can have a “run
and gun” if necessary along with your guide who plays the
turkey call like a fine-tuned fiddle. You’ll need your camouflage
clothing, firearm and shells for this half day seven-hour hunt.
Call Pat for permit information so you don’t miss the December
deadline.
Pheasant
We keep our dogs in shape by hunting pheasants on
licensed game farms spring & fall in the Sheboygan area. No
membership fee is required for this one-day hunt when guided by
the Pack. Our dogs, both flushing and pointing are handled by licensed
guides and provide an exciting positive adventure for both young
& old. The facility offers a sporting atmosphere and excellent
hunting cover. You may also choose to hunt your own dog with one
of our guides. This adventure is perfect for corporate groups looking
for some real hands-on team building.
Geese
The call of the Canadian goose is renowned for the
change of season and sets the mood for the fall hunting season,
but when you hear them answering a long flute call being blown by
an experienced caller, you watch the wings set and the anticipation
will make your blood start to boil. The hunt is on! Our fall season
starts with an early goose hunt in the first part of September with
a five-bird-a-day limit in the exterior zone where the Pack hunts
on private lands over our trained Labrador retrievers. The season
then changes to a two-bird-a-day hunt with the added attraction
of stubbling corn-field mallards once the waterfowl season opens
the first part of October.
Ducks
As the north winds blow those northern flights of
waterfowl into our neck of the woods the Pack is by no means only
land lovers. You prefer to hunt ducks by boat? No problem. Join
our guides and Labrador retrievers in Phowler boats as we maneuver
the marshes with Pro-Drive motors. You’ll watch in awe as
the flocks “maple leaf” into your decoy spread in perfect
shooting range for the adventure of a lifetime. And your adventure
would never be complete until you’ve enjoyed a fresh three-egg
omelet and a steaming cup of Torke coffee prepared in the blind
while you listen to the sweetest duck calling around.
Open water Duck Hunts
Or are you interested in Open Water duck hunting?
The shore of Lake Michigan & Bay of Green Bay have a season
which runs into November which offers some of the best lay out boat
hunting you’ll find in the Mid-west. Raffs of Blue Bills make
a fool out of you till your barrel is hot and the chances for the
trophy duck of a life time are just a wing beat away. Perhaps a
long sprig Old Squaw or full crested Scoter one never knows what
the North winds could blow down in to your decoy spread.
All our guides are Wisconsin Hunter Education Graduates;
Pat and Roy are also certified WI Hunter Ed Instructors. Our Labrador
retriever is the only two-time Champion of the Manitowoc retriever
club hunt test. Our boat and decoys are all personally fields tested
and are chosen to maximize your comfort and enjoyment.
