FISHING THE MUSKY

Fishing Musky with the Wolf Pack begins in June, but gets hotter in the fall as the big ones feed up heavy as they bulk up for the cold Wisconsin winters.  Musky fishing once was known as the fish of 10,000 casts.  Not anymore!!  The Musky fishing in Wisconsin has become that of a world class fishery. 

Still very elusive, these fish grow in excess of 50 inches plus and weigh as much as 40 pounds!!  Folks this is a PREDATOR!!!  The most common method of fishing these brutes is casting LARGE baits on inland lakes.  During certain times of the year, top water baits are very effective in coaxing these monsters into a dance—what an absolute rush it is to see a 40-50 inch fish hit on the water and blow-up the surface like massive water bomb!!
