The game:
Chinnook salmon-growing up to 45 pounds carrying the abilities of stripping off 300+ yards of line in a matter of seconds. This is the power house of the lake. Biggest attraction because of the power and fight. Eating is great, very pink meat.
Coho salmon-growing into the 25 pound range this fish is very difficult to land due to its very aggressive fighting style. This is the scrappiest of the fish we target. Attraction-the eating, it is a very delicate salmon and among the favorites to eat.
Rainbow trout- Very arial fish!! This fish grows into the 20 pound range, and is popular for its show-- a very long and thin fish makes this fish what is considered by many "the best fighters." Although this fish doesn't have the power to take a long run on the reel's drag, it will give a fight that is argueably the best fighter in the world. The eating of this fish is voted the best of the trout species.
Brown trout- Breathtaking beauty!! This fish grows up to the 35 pound class, and tosses in the greatest beauty in fresh water. This fish is attracted to the warm water discharges in the early and late parts of the year, when the water is the coolest. When the fish comes from cold water, I have people say the Brown trout is their favorite.
Lake trout- The bull dog of the lake. These fish can grow to 50 pounds and fight like a heavy weight boxer!! Typically found in the deeper water looking for cold water, this fish will give the rod a workout. This fish uses it's size and depth to strain your arms, back and body. Great fish for eating, typically used for fish boils or about the best fish for smoking.
THE BOATS:
The boats used are BIG, CLEAN, AND BEAUTIFUL!! Don't mess around, fish in comfort!! Big deck space, comfortable cabins and clean stand up bath rooms make your trip very enjoyable. All of the boats are equipped with all the latest safety equiptment such as radar, GPS, vhs radios, etc. Our captains are very experienced, safety oriented, and have an amazing instinct for finding the fish.
THE CAPTAINS:
Our captains are fully licensed by the US Coast Guard, as well as the State Of WI. They are all in a mandatory drug program where they are tested multiple times each year ensuring you are in the best hands available.
All of our captains have a minimum of 15 years experience on the water in the fishing field. They not only are the safest in the game, they are also noted professional fishermen, placing many years in the money at different fishing tournaments around the lake. THE ADVENTURE
This adventure is available to about anyone!! Business or private, old or young, man or woman. We can accomodate groups of any numbers as we have multiple boats available. We do have lodging/fishing packages. Food and beverage can be arranged. Fish cleaning is included in the package price--WE DO ALLOW CATCH AND RELEASE-unlike other boats where you must keep what you catch. Shipping of the fish can also be arranged for additional cost. We customize the trip to your individual want(s) and needs. We are also handicap accessable and gift certificates are available.
